In 2023, Lali Safavi, Diane Pappafotis and Pamela Bausher created SkirtSoFlo, a magazine specifically for South Florida’s LGBTQ women. Woman-owned and operated, our mission is to shine the spotlight on the contributions that our LGBTQ community makes to the arts, literature, music, food, business and life that we see all around us each day. We do this to connect and uplift our South Florida women’s community, and to celebrate gay South Florida as a mecca for arts and culture, as well as sun and fun.
